Known Issues
- Bottom cover cracking — Early production units (manufactured before approximately week 50 of 2025) can develop cracks in the ABS plastic bottom cover around screws and near hinges, sometimes within weeks of normal use. Framework identified the cause as issues with injection molding parameters and the internal geometry of the bottom cover, and implemented a tooling modification along with additional quality checks1112. Affected owners can contact Framework Support for a replacement bottom cover under warranty11. See the full problem page for details.
