Anker 778 Thunderbolt 4 Dock (12-in-1)
The Anker 778 (model A83A9) is a 12-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 docking station delivering 100W of host charging, a downstream TB4 port, dual DisplayPort and HDMI 2.1 outputs, and gigabit Ethernet. A community member reports it "much more reliable" than a Dell WD19TB on a Framework 16, running three monitors without issue1.

Framework Compatibility
| Model | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Framework Laptop 13 (Intel 11th/12th/13th Gen) | Works | Full multi-monitor |
| Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040) | Works | Minor issues reported vs Intel; mostly stable1 |
| Framework Laptop 13 (Intel Core Ultra) | Works | TB4 |
| Framework Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen AI 300) | Works | Single external monitor (AMD limitation) |
| Framework Laptop 16 | Works1 | 3 monitors confirmed; use back-left port |
| Framework Laptop 12 | Likely works |
Port matters
On the FW13 AMD, some docks only behave on a specific Expansion Card slot (commonly the first right port). If you see disconnects, try a different port1.
AMD multi-monitor limitation
AMD Frameworks support a single DisplayPort tunnel, so on AMD the 778 is effectively limited to one external display at full bandwidth. Intel Frameworks can use multiple outputs. For multi-monitor on AMD, prefer an MST-based dock like the Dell WD22TB4.
