note

Several community members replaced older CalDigit TS3 Plus units with the Anker Apex and praised its smaller size, cooler operation, and reliable sleep/resume behavior on the Framework2.

AMD multi-monitor limitation

AMD Frameworks (FW13 Ryzen 7040/AI 300, FW16) support a single DisplayPort tunnel, so Thunderbolt docks like this are effectively limited to one external display on AMD. Intel Frameworks can drive multiple displays. For multi-monitor on AMD, prefer an MST-based dock such as the Dell WD22TB41.
