Linux caveat

The Maxio MAP1602 controller had Linux compatibility issues that were fixed in kernel 6.5.5 with the NVME_QUIRK_DELAY_BEFORE_CHK_RDY patch. Use a distro with kernel ≥6.5.5 (e.g., Fedora 39 ships 6.5.6; Ubuntu 24.04 LTS ships 6.6/6.7). Older kernels like Ubuntu 23.10's 6.5.0 may fail to install to this drive1.
